1. What is Grass?

Grass is a network of millions of people who are rewarded for sharing their unused internet bandwidth with the Grass network.

By participating in the Grass network, you are contributing to building a fairer internet and have the opportunity to own a part of the Grass network. Since everyone has already paid for the internet, why not put your idle connection to use?

  2. Why does Grass exist?

Grass exists to build a fairer internet where you can directly benefit from large companies using your unused internet bandwidth.

Most of us overlook terms and conditions, allowing companies to quietly access our devices’ “unused network resources” for profit. With Grass, you take control—download the app, share your unused bandwidth, and get rewarded.

  3. How does Grass work?

With just three clicks, Grass lets you take control of your internet and earn rewards by sharing unused internet bandwidth with the network.

Grass allows verified institutions to use your bandwidth to support their online services, and your contributions are tracked in the form of Grass Points. These points, along with factors like your bandwidth usage and location, determine the number of Grass tokens you can receive.

Grass is committed to making the internet a platform where everyone benefits—businesses and users alike. Rest assured, neither Grass nor anyone else can access your personal data.

  4. How do verified institutions use Grass?

Verified institutions use Grass to reward you for sharing unused bandwidth, which helps them improve their products and services. This bandwidth can be used for tasks like viewing local prices, accessing regional ads, or conducting academic research.

  5. What are Grass Points?

Your contributions to the Grass network are tracked by awarding Grass Points, which are displayed in your account on the Grass Dashboard.

Grass Points are one of the factors determining the number of Grass tokens you are eligible to receive. Your bandwidth usage and location are also factors in determining the number of Grass tokens you are eligible to receive.

  6. What are Grass Tokens?

Grass Tokens are rewards you earn for sharing unused internet bandwidth with the Grass network. They represent your participation and contribution to building the network, giving you the opportunity to own a part of the infrastructure you help create.

By participating, you not only earn rewards but also play a key role in building internet infrastructure. Your unused bandwidth supports real-time data access for practical applications.

  7. When and how are Grass Tokens awarded?

Grass Tokens will be distributed through airdrops at intervals determined by the Grass Foundation. The first Grass Token airdrop took place on October 28, 2024, with a total of 100 million tokens airdropped to over 2,000,000* Grass users.

Users eligible for the initial airdrop who did not participate due to not submitting a public wallet address before the airdrop deadline will have the opportunity to participate in future Grass Token airdrops.

  8. Is my personal information safe when using Grass?

Grass only allows verified institutions to use your unused internet bandwidth for safe activities like price comparisons and academic research. Your personal information is never accessed; we never access or use your browsing history, nor do we access or sell your personal information.

Grass is certified by leading cybersecurity organizations like AppEsteem, ensuring your data and privacy are protected by world-class security standards.

  9. How do I use Grass?

Simply create a username, enter your email address, and set a password to sign up. After downloading the app, log in to use your Grass account. Yes, it’s that simple.

  10. Can I create multiple accounts to earn more?

Each person can only have one Grass account. Any attempts to create multiple accounts to gain extra referrals or rewards will be penalized. However, you can associate multiple residential IP addresses with your single account.

  11. Are there any restrictions or limitations when using Grass?

You must be at least 18 years old to use Grass.

If two or more accounts are on the same Wi-Fi network, rewards will be split between the accounts.

Grass cannot be used while a VPN is enabled.

  12. Can I download Grass on multiple devices?

While you can download Grass on multiple devices, connecting them to the same Wi-Fi network will split the rewards across those devices.
