MetaMask wallet is the foundational tool for entering Web3. You need to learn its basic usage.

1: Deposit / Recharge

Depositing usually means withdrawing coins from a centralized exchange (CEX).

Prepare your cryptocurrency, then copy your MetaMask wallet address.

Whether you're using the mobile app or the browser extension, you’ll have your unique address — copy it.

Think of it as your home address: without it, the funds can’t reach you!

Also pay close attention to which blockchain/network you’re sending to!

Open your exchange app (here we use Binance as an example).

Go to Assets → Withdraw → On-chain Withdrawal → Select the token you want to withdraw.

Paste the MetaMask address you just copied into the address field.

Select the correct network (public chain) for the withdrawal.

Enter the amount and confirm the withdrawal.

Important: Always double-check that the address and network are correct — mistakes can lead to permanent loss of funds.

Make sure you have enough native gas token (e.g., ETH, BNB, MATIC) on that chain. Gas is like fuel for a car — without it, transactions won’t move.

2: How to Use MetaMask

The wallet acts as a bridge connecting you to the Web3 world.

2.1: Browser Extension (most common)

When using a Web3 project, you’ll usually see a “Connect Wallet button with the MetaMask fox icon.

Click it → MetaMask pops up asking to connect → confirm the connection.

After connecting, you can trade, stake, mint, etc., freely.

Example with GasPump Swap:

2.2: Mobile App

The mobile app requires you to use its built-in browser to connect.

Still using GasPump Swap as an example:

Conclusion: All wallets work essentially the same way. Once you master MetaMask, you’ve mastered 95% of other wallets.

Warning: Never click unknown links or connect your wallet to random sites — this is the easiest way to lose all your assets!
