How to Earn Grass Points

Grass Points can be earned in several ways. Currently, users can earn Grass Points by downloading and running the Grass App and by referring new users.

Download and Run Grass

Every user who downloads and runs Grass immediately starts earning Grass Points. As long as your computer remains active, Grass runs seamlessly in the background, tracking your contributions to the network via Grass Points. It’s that simple. Grass Points reflect your active participation in the community and your contribution to the growth of the Grass ecosystem.

Referral Points

Referrals are another way to accumulate Grass Points. When you refer a friend to download Grass using your referral code, you’ll earn additional points based on their usage of the Grass app. Specifically, you’ll receive a 20% bonus based on the points your referred friends earn. (For example, if your friend earns 100 points, you’ll get 20 points. Don’t worry—these points don’t come out of your friend’s points. You’ll earn points separately, while your friend keeps their full 100 points.)

But it goes beyond that. If your friends refer others, you’ll earn a 10% bonus based on the points earned by those second-degree referrals. If those second-degree referrals refer others, you’ll earn a 5% bonus based on the points earned by third-degree referrals. This cascading referral system allows you to earn points from the activity of users you indirectly bring to the Grass community.
